Did you know that nearly a quarter of all pumpkins grown for Halloween end up as food waste at the landfill? - a shocking 18,000 tonnes of food! Furthermore, despite 8/10 of us wanting to reduce the amount of food that we waste, nearly half of consumers admit that they don’t consider the bountiful Halloween pumpkin as a viable food source.
