The Lunch Report, a new report compiled by Wagamama, has found that 25% of Brits are taking a 'nano lunch' of just 15 minutes.
The report follows the launch of Wagamama's own walk-away payment App designed to save their diners an average of 12 minutes at the table.How long are workers spending on lunch?
- 25% take fewer than 15 minutes
- 30% take fewer than 25 minutes
- 70% take fewer than 40 minutes
- With just 17% taking the whole hour of their lunch break.
The research also showed that 40% of Brits are willing to use technology to speed up other elements of their life, with convenience being the key to the consumer's choice of lunchtime destination.
