Kafoodle is a business built on one, horrific moment: the seconds that Kim Antoniou watched her husband being resuscitated on the floor of a restaurant in Mykonos, Greece, would form the nucleus for the food app she now runs with long-time friend Tarryn Gorre.

Angered by the treatment received by her husband — who has a severe nut allergy — from a callous waiter wielding a suspect salad back in 2014, Antoniou made it her mission to educate busy restaurant staff in food allergens and to help diners make informed decisions.”
