We are excited to announce that Tony Ward, a dietitian for the Salford Royal Foundation Trust (Salford Care Organisation) is partnering with Salford CCG and Kafoodle to trial ‘Kafoodle Meal Planning’ in nursing homes in the Salford area as part of an innovation bid.
Tony has been a dietitian for 13 years, working in many different areas including elderly care, mental health, gastroenterology, diabetes, and patients with head and neck trauma. He has also lectured for a short period at Chester University.
Both a registered dietitian in the UK and USA, Tony has had extensive experience within hospitals and more recently, as a Band 7 dietitian, has been leading a team of dietitians in the community for the Salford Royal Foundation Trust.
With his entrepreneurial side, Tony is always thinking of new and innovative ways of working to improve nutrition and health in a cost-effective manner. Kafoodle is looking to revolutionise the nutrition and social care industry and Tony views this as a truly exciting and challenging time for him.
