Project Manager

Reporting directly to the COO this role will be challenging yet rewarding; you will have the full support of the Kafoodle team, but the opportunity to make the role your own. You will be comfortable planning and delivering both client-facing and internal projects, from onboarding new key accounts to developing and launching new technical solutions, and will bring your expertise and knowledge to help us shape and improve our business. There will be some travel and time spent on client sites. We don’t believe in hiring talented people and then telling them exactly what to do, so you’ll need to be proactive, problem-solving and self-motivated, and ready to hit the ground running and thrive in a quickly changing environment.


Job Details

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Develop and manage project plans for onboarding key clients and delivering internal projects
  • Liaise with and manage members of Kafoodle teams and client contacts to ensure smooth and successful delivery of project plans
  • Create and maintain appropriate project controls and deliverables; project scope, plan, outcomes, KPIs, reports, budget, risk and issues
  • Identify and implement ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of project management in the business
  • Deliver training in our products as required

 

You will have:

  • Proven track record of planning and delivering projects, with > 5 years in a similar role
  • Experience in a technology product development business/environment. Experience of recognised software development approaches and frameworks, e.g. Agile, Scrum would be advantageous
  • Experience in a start-up or small entrepreneurial business
  • Project management qualification ideally
  • Relevant sector experience, i.e. foodservice, healthcare, education
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Experience in managing and motivating people
  • Excellent and persuasive written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to take the lead and provide direction, and also work well as part of a team
  • Self-motivation, be very organised and able to manage multiple concurrent projects independently and proactively to deadlines
  • Good attention to detail; be analytical, problem-solving and able to use your own initiative
  • Ability to quickly establish a good understanding of our solutions and processes and hit the ground running
  • Ability to adapt to the changing requirements of the business and stakeholders
