Marketing Manager

Kafoodle is looking for an experienced marketing manager to help us develop and implement marketing strategies and plans to deliver sustainable business growth. As the marketing manager, you will be a creative thinker, enjoy problem-solving and be highly motivated with a genuine drive to succeed. You will work closely with the sales and account growth team to enhance lead generation but also able to use your own initiative. The role would represent a great opportunity for those looking to take full accountability for the Marketing strategy, building out channels and developing a best practice marketing function. The salary for this role is between £35,000 to £42,000 per annum

Job Details

Key responsibilities:

  • Establish collaborative and productive relationships with Product & Tech, Strategic Partnerships and Client Services teams
  • Developing a marketing strategy and budgets in order to deliver on commercial objectives, reaching new and existing customers
  • Develop PR strategy, source and manage external provider(s) and oversee delivery of all PR activities to maximise brand positioning, reputation and customer recognition
  • Manage external marketing consultants and contractors
  • Define and implement relationship marketing and communications strategy and plans
  • Manage CRM system(s) and produce regular reports for the business
  • Perform analysis of markets, industries, geographies and competitors, to support ongoing strategy and plan development
  • Maintain and communicate accurate forecast and progress reports to the leadership team and business
  • Continually assess marketing techniques and their impact on sales
  • Arrange the attendance of and represent the company at trade exhibitions, relevant industry events and conferences
  • Ensure adherence to brand guidelines
  • Generate awareness within existing and new customers through a wide range of B2B channels including social, events, CRM, PR
  • Analyse all marketing activity, drive efficiencies and optimise campaigns
  • Develop an overarching content strategy, writing content which you will roll out across the website, social media and email
  • Develop a lead generation marketing machine to support the sales team’s activity
  • Develop sales collateral to ensure the sales team are armed with the best tools to showcase the proposition and win new clients’ business


Skills & Knowledge:


  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Digital marketing
  • Relevant product sector and customer industry experience
  • A consultative and strategic approach
  • Knowledge of latest marketing techniques as well as tried-and-true practices
  • Target market analysis
  • Demonstrates superior time management skills
  • Professional with strong commercial acumen
  • Strong knowledge of using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • A track record of achieving targets relating to the generation of leads, product and brand awareness
  • Experience of managing cross channel B2B Marketing plans within a stand-alone role or small team with a focus on content


  • B2B Marketing experience within a Tech organisation – experience of the Health & Wellness and/ or Food or a data focused product also of interest
  • A strong network of relevant contacts to draw on
  • Database management
  • Experience in Healthcare, Hospitality, Education and/or Catering

Qualifications & Education:

  • All round marketing experience gained from a minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role
  • Experience managing a marketing team
  • Experience in fast-growth business, both corporate and start-up businesses
