Business Development Executive

Kafoodle is looking for an ambitious and energetic business development executive to help us drive sustainable growth through sales from new opportunities and existing account potential. You will identify, initiate, develop, and close sales. You will need to have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented.

Role: Business Development Executive

Purpose of Role:

Support the head of sales to develop and implement sales strategies and plans to deliver sustainable business growth for Kafoodle.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify development potential in accounts by studying current business; interviewing key customer personnel and identifying, evaluating and analysing additional opportunities
  • Initiate the sales process by building relationships; qualifying potential and scheduling appointments
  • Develop new sales and growth through effective research, impactful presentations of key benefits, product demonstrations, service enhancements and additions, and introducing additional products and services
  • Collaborate with the product and technology team to scope and deliver new products and enhancements
  • Contribute to sales strategies and product development roadmap by evaluating current products, identifying needs to be met, monitoring competitive products, analysing and relaying customer feedback
  • Help build a high-performance sales team supported by best practice systems and Solution Selling processes
  • Attend trade shows, industry and networking events 

Experience and skills:

  • >2 years’ experience in a similar role: customer experience management, account management, sales management
  • Ability to initiate, build and maintain valuable and sustainable client account relationships
  • Proven B2B sales prospecting skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, G Suite and CRM software (e.g. Zoho preferred)
  • Experience in technology sales, catering, hospitality, healthcare, education or retail food a distinct advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a persuasive negotiator
  • Excellent time management and planning skills
  • Strong business and financial acumen with a problem-solving attitude
  • Self-motivated team player with a strong desire for success
  • A full driving licence and the ability to travel

The salary for this role is £25,000 plus an attractive commission package.
