6th March 2017

A Taste of Travel with Kafoodle. 5th April 2017.
What’s on your plate? Introducing a ‘technology’ for caterers, airlines and passengers that communicates exactly what is being served

Kafoodle are very excited to have be invited to give an open talk at this year’s Taste of Travel event, which will be held at the Taste of Travel Theatre, Hamburg Messe.

The event, which is hosted by Onboard Hospitality and the World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo (WTCE) team, will be bringing together a programme of sessions and presentations over a three day period between the 4-6th AprilImage result for taste of travel theatre

The event is a celebration and recognition of the experiences of the onboard catering industry, and there will be many open sessions-including live chef demonstrations and product launches for all to attend. Our founder, Kim Antoniou will be discussing the effects that the new labelling legislation could have on onboard catering and how technology could help.

Kim will be presenting on the 5th at 11:30, with her talk: ‘What’s on your plate? Introducing a ‘technology’ for caterers, airlines and passengers that communicates exactly what is being served’.

Within the presentation, she will be considering how the new labelling legislation can be attended to on board a flight with the help of technology, and will be particularly focusing on the experiences of allergy sufferers who may be apprehensive about eating on board due to a lack of medical resources and a confined environment.

All the sessions are free, and there will be the chance to enjoy food samples and interactive discussions for all attendees.
